This lets us keep wastage to a minimum and we pass the savings on to you!

To cut costs, Yalla Move always customizes your move to match your needs. So you never have to pay for anything you didn’t ask for. This means you don’t get charged for truck space you don’t use. It also means you don’t pay for packaging, wrapping, dismantling and boxing that you never needed!

When you fill in the online ‘What I’m Moving’ form, you are letting us know what you need moved ahead of time. This allows you to know exactly how much your move will cost and allows us to charge you accurately, calculating your move in volume (cubic feet) or half truck loads required. So we ask you to make sure that everything we are moving is included in the form, as the information you provide us with is critical in helping us to reduce costs.

If you are charged for anything that you end up not using, we will gladly refund you the equivalent amount of unused material, space, or labor - this will be deducted from your final bill once we’re done with your move!

We eliminate the many complications ‘bigger’ movers usually throw your way together with tremendous amounts of wasted resources. So we only charge you for dismantling, assembly, and bubble-wrapping per item, guaranteeing that you only pay for what you get! As for boxing up and packing assorted loose items, we’ll gladly do that room by room and charge per room.

If you’d rather save some more of your hard-earned money by packing your details or doing any of these things yourself, we’ll gladly deliver all the packing materials you need prior to your move for you to do so! No matter what your budget is and whatever the size of your move, our hassle-free, cut-rate removal services are ready to move your things anywhere in the UAE for a fraction of what it would cost you elsewhere!

Terms & Conditions

Please read our Terms & Conditions for a better understanding of how we operate. These conditions set out the terms of the contract between Yalla Move as (the Agent) and you (the Customer) and explain your rights and obligations and responsibilities and those of the Contractor.

Interpretation
  • Any reference in these conditions to ‘we’ or ‘us’ is a reference to the Agent.
  • Any reference in these conditions to ‘you’ is a reference to the Customer.
  • ‘Goods’ means the goods being removed and/or stored.
Yalla Move as Agent

Yalla Move LLC (the Agent) is a service provider with signed agreements with the fleet (Operators) to promote and manage their services while ensuring the highest levels of service, care and reliability is adhered to. Yalla Move’s representatives are present during all contracted moves / relocations to implement quality control and ensure observance of contract.

Quotations & Charges
  • The quoted price is all-inclusive of truck use and crew, as well as everything required for your move.
  • Our minimum charge is AED 250 for moving one large furniture piece or item (our ‘Tuesday Specials’). Prices are calculated according to the number and size of items moved, calculated in volume (cubic feet).
  • Any additional space required due to items not being added to the ‘What I’m moving’ form at the time of booking will be charged on the day in increments of additional ½ truck loads at AED 450.
  • Agreed Rate Guarantee:
    • Any additional items not included in the form and requiring additional truck space will be charged according to their calculated volume (cubic feet) as per our rate card. Correspondingly, if the Customer is over charged for truck space due to a miscalculation by us on the inventory list, then the Customer will be entitled to a discount equivalent to the unused volume.
    • The validity of this guarantee stands if the inventory list provided by the customer matches the inventory we are to move.
  • Although we quote a fixed price we reserve the right to amend it or make additional charges if any of the following have not been taken into account when preparing the quotation:-
    • If due to any circumstances outside our control the work is not carried out or completed within 1 month of the quotation date.
    • Our costs increase as a result of changes in freight charges beyond our control.
    • We supply any additional services.
    • There are delays outside our reasonable control in which event we will make an additional charge for waiting time calculated in accordance with our standard rates applicable at the time.
    • Access to the collection or delivery point is inadequate or the approach is unsuitable for our vehicles.
    • Any parking or other fees or charges that we have to incur and pay in order to carry out the services you require. In all these circumstances you will be responsible for the extra charges.
  • Our quotation is not a guarantee that we have vehicles available on the day you require. Accordingly your signed acceptance of our quotation does not constitute a contract between us until you have our written confirmation that we can move your Goods on your required date. We will send our written confirmation within one working day of our receipt of your acceptance of our quotation.
Work Excluded from our Quotations

Unless previously agreed in writing we will not: -

  • Dismantle or assemble unit-furniture (flat-pack), fittings or fitments.
  • Disconnect or reconnect appliances, fittings or equipment.
  • Remove or lay fitted floor coverings.
  • Take down or re-hang curtains, blinds or other window coverings.
  • Move or store any items excluded under the ‘Excluded Property’ Clause.
  • Move any item or items which our removal crew reasonably believe they cannot move safely or the removal of which may damage the item or items in question or its or their surroundings.
Excluded Property

The following items are specifically excluded from this contract and will not be removed: -

  • Jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones, money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of a similar kind.
  • Potentially dangerous, damaging or explosive items.
  • Goods likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infection.
  • Refrigerated or frozen food or drink.
  • Any animals and their cages or tanks including pets, birds or fish.
  • Cars, boats and caravans.
  • Furs, perfumery, wines, spirits, tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, foodstuffs, perishable goods or any kind of explosives.

    Such goods will not be removed by us except without prior written agreement. If you submit such goods without our knowledge and prior written agreement we will not be liable for any loss or damage except when death or injury is caused by our negligence or that of our employees or agents and you will indemnify us against any charges, expenses, damages or penalties claimed against us by third parties. In addition we shall be entitled to dispose of (without notice) any such goods which are listed under the above paragraphs ii, iii, iv, v, & vii.

Customer's Responsibility

It is your sole responsibility to:-

  • Obtain at your expense all documents necessary for the removal to be completed.
  • Be present yourself or appoint a representative at the departure and destination points to ensure that nothing is removed or left in error or is left in the wrong room.
  • Prepare adequately and stabilize all appliances prior to their removal.

    Other than by reason of our negligence we will not be liable for any loss or damage, costs or additional charges that may arise from any of these matters.

Ownership of the Goods

By entering into this contract you confirm to us that:-

  • The Goods are your own property; or
  • You have the authority of the owner of the property to make this contract in respect of the Goods.

    You will be responsible to pay for any claim for damages and/or costs against either of the above if this proves to be untrue.

Postponements/Cancellations

If you postpone or cancel this contract we may charge according to how much notice you provide prior to the agreed removal date:-

  • More than 2 days: 0% of the total removal charges = Nothing charged
  • 1 - 2 days: 50% of the total removal charges will be charged
  • Less than 24 hours: 75% of the total removal charges will be charged.
Payment of Removal Charges
  • All payments are accepted in cash only.
  • We will require a 50% payment upon arrival of crew and balance upon completion of the job, as detailed in the Order Confirmation, in cash.
  • There will be a 20% administration fee should you decide to cancel your move once the Order Confirmation has been received.
  • Unless you have our written agreement to the contrary you must pay our charges in cash immediately following the completion of the removal. Unless we agree otherwise, you may not withhold any part of the agreed price. Interest at 5% per month calculated on a daily basis, is charged on all overdue accounts.
Our Liability for Loss or Damage / Indemnity
  • The Customer hereby indemnifies Yalla Move against any claims made by anyone for any loss, damage or injury suffered, including but not limited to claims arising in consequence of any road accidents, moving of Customer items, acts of vandalism, negligence or willful act or omission by the Agent, its servants or employees.
  • Restricted Liability
    • In the event that we lose or damage your goods through our negligence or our breach of contract, the Agent’s management will negotiate compensation on a ‘situation by situation’ basis with regard to repairing or replacing lost or damaged items. In this respect an item is defined as any one article, suite, pair, set, complete case, package, carton or other container.
    • Use of the truck services is solely at the risk of the Customer and shall assume all costs of insuring and replacing any goods to be transported, whether or not caused by the willful act or negligence of the Operator or its employees. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Customer bears the risk of all damages to his/her property or effects arising from transportation services, or otherwise caused. The Customer agrees to indemnify Yalla Move (the Agent) and the Operator from any cost or liability resulting either from the loss of the property of the Customer or for any loss caused by Customers Property or caused by either Customer or any person for the Customer is responsible at law.
    • We may choose to repair or replace the damaged or lost item. However if we choose to repair the item we will not be liable for any depreciation in value.
    • Other than because of our negligence, we will not be liable for any loss, damage or failure to deliver the goods if it is caused by any of the following circumstances:
      • Fire howsoever caused.
      • War, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, terrorism, rebellion and/or military coup, act of God, industrial action or other such events outside our reasonable control.
      • Normal wear and tear, natural or gradual deterioration, leakage or evaporation or from perishable or unstable goods. This includes goods left within furniture or appliances.
      • Cleaning, repairing or restoring unless we did the work.
      • Moth or vermin or similar infestation.
      • Electrical or mechanical derangement to any appliance, instrument or equipment unless there is evidence of external impact.
      • Additionally we will not be liable for any loss of or damage to:
        • Any goods in wardrobes, drawers or appliances, or in a package, bundle, case or other container not both packed and unpacked by us.
        • Jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones or metals, money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of a similar kind, unless you have previously given us full information including value, and we have confirmed in writing that we will accept responsibility
        • Goods which have a relevant proven defect or are inherently defective.
        • Animals and their cages or tanks including pets, birds or fish.
        • Plants.
        • Refrigerated or frozen food or drink.
        • Other than because of our negligence, we will not be liable for damages or costs resulting indirectly from, or as a consequence of loss, damage, or failure to deliver the goods.
  • Any liability under the ‘Restricted Liability’ clause above is expressly subject to all or any other applicable exclusions set out elsewhere in this agreement
Territories

All jobs that require pickup or delivery outside of the Emirate of Dubai will have a fixed extra charge of AED 300.

Delays in transit

Unless we give a specifically agreed written timescale then arrival and departure times are an estimate only.

Damage to premises

We shall only be liable for damage to premises caused by our negligence. Any damages to premises must be noted on the delivery receipt and confirmed in writing to us within seven days unless you request a reasonable extension which we agree in writing.

Sub-contracting the work
  • We reserve the right to sub-contract some or all of the work for which we have provided a quotation without reference to you.
  • If we sub-contract these conditions will still apply in full.
Whole agreement

These Terms and Conditions together with our quotation are intended to form the whole agreement between us and to prevail over any verbal discussions. Should we mutually agree to any variation of these terms, such variation should be confirmed in writing. Any variation however agreed shall never invalidate the remainder of these Terms and Conditions.

Jurisdiction

This contract is subject to the laws of UAE.

Agent’s warranty

The Agent warrants that it has all the necessary authorities, licenses and permissions in respect of the delivery services to enter into this Order with a Customer.

lective Insurance

Whilst we take every possible precaution to protect your goods, the fact is that some risks remain when transporting. For this reason, we suggest that you buy a ‘goods in transit’ insurance policy to protect yourself, in the unlikely event that items are damaged.
